Welcome to the home page of the Society of Virginia. In existence since 1923, the Society is a member of the National Conference of State Societies and serves as a forum to bring Virginians together in the Washington, DC area.

REMINDER THAT 2010 Dues were due on January 31, 2010
Ann is the daughter of Society President Robert and Gail Sullivan and has been a resident of Fairfax, Virginia all of her 19 years. She is a 2008 graduate of Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia. In her junior year at Paul VI, Ann was inducted into the prestigious National Honor Society. She was selected to be an editor for the school yearbook and was a member of several student organizations, including Student Ambassadors, the Dead Poets’ Society, the Photography Club, the Poetry Club, Club Ophelia, and the French Club. She has participated in the “Walk for the Homeless” in Washington, D.C. and volunteered at the Lamb Center and Fairfax Nursing Home in Fairfax City. Ann is currently a sophomore in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she has declared a double major in photojournalism and women’s studies. Last year, she was selected to be a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority at Syracuse University. Ann loves taking photos, writing poetry, painting, and getting together with friends.
