The Society of Virginia Board of Governors invites you for a tour of Alexandria’s graveyards and to hear ghost stories planned for October 24. – Stay tuned for exact date and other arrangements -  Location may change.

Old Town Alexandria, Virginia is known for its yearly “Ghost Tours.” Most of the tours are evening tours. At our Board of Directors meeting, we discussed having a late afternoon tour which would end at a restaurant (allowing those interested in dinner to make an evening of it).  If 10 or more people sign up, the tour company is willing to provide a special tour for Society of Virginia Members and guests on Saturday, October 24, starting at 4:15 p.m. at the City Hall Plaza (King & Fairfax Streets) and ending at the historic Gadsby’s Tavern (138 N. Royal Street). The cost of the tour would be around $10-13/person ($5/person for the Seniors).  Reservation for the tour must be made by Wednesday, October 21.
